Upazila Family Planning Office, Ujirpur, Barisal

 Various government programs including Family Planning, Mother and Child Health, Reproductive Health and Adolescent Teenage Services are being successfully managed by Upazila Family Planning Office, Ujirpur, Barisal, Upazila, union health and family welfare center, community clinic and satellite clinic.

Important ongoing activities:

In order to ensure safe maternity, the normal delivery service is being provided to 24 union / union parishad centers at 3 union health and family welfare centers in this upazila. As a result, the rate of institutional delivery services in these upazila has been increasing. This is one of the successes of this upazila due to maternal mortality, birth and death of new nation. In this case, the department works relentlessly to save the list with the pregnancy mother's mobile number, to deliver services to pregnant mothers at the right time and to assess the risk and take necessary action.

This section encourages people to participate in various issues including prevention of child marriage, reproductive health, mother and child health, family planning services and participation of teachers and students of the society, Imam / Khatib, Marriage Registrar, newly married couple, school and madrasa. The society has been working to raise awareness. The family welfare assistant working at the office level of this office is being ensured by providing services to the people at home and 03 (three) community clinics in the week 03 (three) days.
